Welcome....

to the chaotic and often strange life of a Quasi, Clumsy Spiritual Warrior, Dan Abernathy. This is the weekly Newsletter where I share with you my voice, be it in words, art, or my collections of oddities, fascinations, desires and obsessions. Here I will make available 98% of all my perspectives, be they fluid and random, meandering and incomplete, or things I have completed and offering. They other 2% I keep to himself, archived and a gift for the scholars and naysayers to decipher later on. This will all be delivered to you via the web, whether I am roaming the road in his converted 1991 International school bus, The Chool Bus, home in Pinedale, Wyoming or briefly hanging my hat in another dusty corner of the world.

Issue Number Eleven

July 25, 2017

Hello This Morning!

Rejoice with passion as you collide with people from the here and there. With no effort or remorse they fill you heart with all that could be. Some will stay, some will drift away and some will only be a brief flash in time, yet each one will remain a resident within the person that you are.” ” - dbA

Chronologies – Excerpts – Fragments – Reflections,

From The Journals of Dan Abernathy

Shadow of the Moon

I was raised in the shadow of two moons and can still hear their tones resonating within my consciousness. The tremors tug and pull me; uncaring as to which side I choose to stand. The quiet intensity gently nudges me, continuously keeping me off center. It is my earthly way of being and I stay uninhibited listening to it.  I cannot withdraw from me, as I courageously walk barefoot into the wastelands of who I am. With each stumbling step I continue to glance ahead for contentment in the new places I was destined to be. - dbA

The Chool Bus

Notes from a vagabond lifestyle and living on the road in a converted school bus, dubbed, “The Chool Bus,”

Thanks to Leo Hokola, who gifted me with this beautiful pine plank. After a far amount of sanding, I now have new counter/table tops in the Chool Bus. The old faded tapestries have also came down and new curtains went up. Knowing it’s always about the light, I created my new draperies from old willow branches I peeled, sanded, polished and shellacked.  After searching high and low for the right cord I found some off-white, cotton clothesline rope. Half hitched the rope on the willow branches, finished with a few wooden beads and the realization that this little project took a lot more rope then I thought it would.

New Pieces from Chaos Creations

Titanium Aura Quartz

Titanium Aura Quartz clears a pathway for the vital life force to flow, energizing all the chakras. Wearing one of these stones will give a feeling of being grounded, centered and energized all at once. It helps us to dispel sorrow, replacing it with joy by stimulating humor and relaxation. It can activate and enhance our mental abilities making us more confident, self aware and focused.

Titanium Aura Quartz, is a natural quartz crystal which has been manufactured by bonding titanium oxide onto it’s surface, creating beautiful permanent colors in all the shades of the rainbow which won’t rub or wash off. These crystals bring about change, however they also give us the confidence, strength and power to support us to move into a better place, which is more aligned with our highest good.

Each of these Titanium Aura Quartz are wrapped with recycled, pounded and patina copper with adjustable leather cord. $48
