On The Road
The People’s Fair - Denver, Colorado
Had a great show last weekend, which marks the third year of doing this show. Reconnected with old friends and made some new ones. My booth was next to the park and the music and I might have even gotten a bit of a contact high from all the merrymakers! One of the coolest things that happened, was being asked by some great friend, Teresa Merriman from Westcliffe, Colorado, with Mind’s Eye Journals to be part of the intro to her Tid Bit Tuesday, a weekly video segment about journaling.

New Pieces from Chaos Creations
This piece is unique and very eclectic piece is made from an antique silver fork. I removed the two center tines and wrapped the outer two around a piece of turquoise from Northern Arizona. Holding it in place is pounded and patina recycled copper. The marks on the fork were done with a stamp and a chisel. Fastening hooks are handmade. Chain is treated copper. Overall size is 2 ¾” long. #93017 $138

My Mind Has Forgotten to Age, is the first Limited Edition, 333 signed and numbered, Chapbook in an unnumbered series categorized as, Chronologies – Excerpts – Fragments – Reflections, From The Journals of Dan Abernathy. Each of the 23 poems were documented after conception, in my journals as will as the drawings. The 13, drawings you will see are also, excerpts and fragment of a completed larger drawing. I have chosen to present them to you in this fashion, to leave a slight grain of mystical wonderment for the future.

Journey4YOUth is a nonprofit organization started by Brian and Katie Ernst to work alongside people to create long-term sustainable change that will benefit generations to come.
