Somniative Collection - Raven Number Four
The Somniative Collection has vague borders or parameters. This series, which is in four stages, begins with an original pen & ink drawing, is then recreated on cold pressed steal, completing the second phase with an original piece of art. Continuing into the third phase, the original drawing is printed on wood and merged with found natural objects and or rusted metal. These antique reclaimed and repurposed metallic objects are used to enhance the uniqueness. The final phase of this series are small limited edition prints from the original pen & ink.
Phase One

The Somniative Series begins with the original drawing in pen & ink. It is created on 11” X 14” paper. Framed and matted 16” X 20” - $610.00
Phase Two

Original Art on Metal
Phase Two is recreated the original drawing on cold pressed steal using acrylic paint pens. The background metal is rusted and painted. Allowing the paint to mix with the rust creates a unique, weathered color and expression that becomes an original of its own. The edges are wrapped in patinaed. The back is finished in pressed wood and has D-Rings for hanging. Overall size is Approximately 3’ X 4’ - $1500.00

Limited Edition of 7
Phase Three are prints on wood.This limited edition series of 7 pieces of art are in fact one of a kind as each piece will very in design. This image has been printed on wood; note the wood grain in the image. The wood image is wrapped with copper, patinaed, then mounted to reclaimed rusted metal and or wood, which raises it from the background ¾ of an inch. The edges of the background have also been wrapped with copper and patinaed.
The back is finished in pressed wood and has D-Rings for hanging. Overall size is approximately 13 ” X 18” Image size, 8 ” X 12” - $395.00
