I combine the art of Cartography in making maps, using antique maps and pages from an atlas, and my version of pointillism and stippling into my creative perspectives. The background for this pen & ink drawing of a Bison is on a map of Yellowstone National Park, which was published in 1897 in a Rand McNally Atlas. It measures 11 X 14 inches and is framed with patinaed copper to a 16 X 20.
