Paradise is standing tall, free of the
knowledge of sin. It is having your connection to an earthly presence
while living in the knowledge of what is in the heavens. Though it is
neither a place nor a state alone, hardly definable and seemingly
unattainable, paradise is.
It may be found, we’re promised,
on the day the only existence we remember ends. It may be earned, we’re
told, through following rules set before us. And once we’ve attained
paradise, we’ll all stand tall in the sky, made in the image of another
with the knowledge of sin cleansed from our frames.
But what of those who fall? What of this one,
who lies apart and alone? How was his paradise lost?
