Welcome to
the chaotic and often strange life of Dan Abernathy. This is my
platform for random thoughts, often meandering and incomplete, rants,
praise, love, words of no meaning, and words of too much meaning. This
is my voice. It is my collection of oddities, fascinations,
photographs, desires, and obsessions – a road map of sorts, tracking a
vagabond who walks in dreams of a pure, hedonistic life. This is a
place to keep those interested informed not only of what's happening in
my life, but also what is igniting in the gray matter of my mind.
Hopefully, you will get a glimpse into the state of my chaos and
confusion. Here there are no rules! By entering and staying, you will
be opening doors to my mind and looking in. Some will find this venture
entertaining and filled with wonderment. The unknowing or unwilling to
know will find pure confusion, fear, and bewilderment.
This blog is a love letter to
everyone and anyone that may choose to
spend some time here. It is a love letter as true love is honest and
that is all you will find here, 98% honesty of who and what I am. The
other 2% is going to the beyond with me, so the scholars and naysayers
can figure the last bit out.

Hello
This Morning!
Unconditional love is often spoke though seldom practiced.
But, when true love is the focus there is no need for justification. -

I Ran With
Them
What if there was a terrible earthquake
and it loosened all the
doors and crumbled down the walls that held people in? What if all the
terribly insane were set free to run the streets spreading chaos and
causing mayhem? What if I was running with them and the new found
freedom made me realize that that this is who I have become? -dba

I found a doorway filled with pigeon
shit and thought as nasty as this is it could be the portal to spring.
Relief might be on the other side.

So when I grabbed the door handle I
found it to be jammed, stuck and not able to be pulled open. It was not
locked it just would not open.

My shoulders slumped a bit but then I
smiled when I turned and saw a blooming flower sitting in the sun on an
abandoned cars dash. I didn't even care that is was plastic.

Hello
This Morning!
If you devote your time to love and improving the person that you are,
there will be little time to criticize others.

I heard on the news today that the new
Oxford Dictionary has
adding new words, some from texting abbreviations but the best addition
is, "Muffin top". We see then all the time, since pants have dropped
off the hips to across the ass, but I was in a clothing store recently
and see that they are being displayed on mannequins. Wondering!

Gallery
When I was a young boy growing up one of
my favorite pastimes was perusing the pages of a magazine, called
Gallery. This was long before the internet and the docking of this
wondrous source for fantasia was kept secure and away from a parental
search-and-destroy mission by hiding them under the Sergeant Rock and
Johan Hex comics under my bed. I never knew, that my mother knew I was
enjoying all these wonderfully undressed women that bared her 70’s bush
for my pleasure, until the first time I went to a big city on my own.
In a motherly attempt to protect her son, she told me to find a girlie
magazine and stay in the hotel at night. I was sixteen and never
listened much. I hit the streets as soon as I could and found porn
shops, sex shops and real women that would let you see, touch and feel,
I sort of lost my enthusiasm for the “girls next door,” in Gallery
Magazine. - dba
Something
that caught my eye on the way to the internet!
Grace Slick flashed me her tit, then
that night I didn't dream of a white rabbit,

but rather a nude woman being chased by
a rogue elephant!
